Pre-Festival Panel: Tuesday, Sept. 27th

Panel Poster 7:30 pm: Join us before the film festival begins at Mondragon Bookstore & Coffee House (91 Albert) for "Art, Activism, & Palestine," a panel discussion on the efforts of contemporary artists using artwork as activism to aid in the fight against the Occupation ... featuring Montreal artists and solidarity activists Darren Ell and Danielle Sara Frank (also see below for details about their gallery exhibit).

Grand Opening: Wednesday, Sept. 28th

7 pm: Join us at the Old Market Autonomous Zone (3rd Floor, 91 Albert Street, above Mondragon) for a wine & cheese gala, featuring the launch of Montreal photographer Darren Ell's exhibit "Twice Removed: Photographs from Occupied Palestine," as well as the Winnipeg premiere of Danielle Sara Frank's film "Sunset Over Qalqiliya." The "Art & Occupation" exhibit will also run Thursday to Sunday from 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm each day.
