This year, the Canada Palestine Film Festival will be adding a film jury and awards component to the festival. Jurors will decide upon a range of categories, including "Best Fiction Feature," "Best Documentary," "Best Short," as well as the "Golden Olive" Award for best festival selection. Jurors will consist of local and international representatives from academia, media, filmmaking, and social justice circles. The official 2005 festival jury, and their awards selections, will be posted on this site.

• Leslie Hughes (Independent Journalist)
