Please consider supporting the continued existence of the Canada Palestine Film Festival. This year we are trying to reach our fund-raising target of $8,000 to cover expanding screening fees, venue and equipment expenses, jury awards, and an array of related events. (A 2005 festival budget will be posted here soon.)

Donations can be sent by cheque or money order, or paid online by using Paypal. Donations are tax-deductable only if made payable to "Project Peacemakers" (745 Westminster Ave., Winnipeg, MB., R3G 1A5) and ear-marked for "Canada Palestine Film Festival."

Sponsor A Specific Film - $250
Individual or organization will be listed as film's specific sponsor in the programme and website.
Help us purchase needed equipment - $varies
Helps the organizing committee acquire equipment to expand the scope and technical parameters of the festival from year-to-year (such as PAL DVD players, video projector, and so on).
Sponsor a guest artist or speaker - $500
Helps us cover transportation, hotel, publicity, or honoraria for out-of-town artists or speakers to participate in the film festival's expanding array of programming. This year, we are looking for funds to cover the costs of Montreal photojournalist Darren Ell's visiting exhibit "Twice Removed: Photographs from Occupied Palestine," as well as keynote speaker Ali Abunimah (of Electronic Intifada).
Sponsor a Film Festival Jury Prize - $500
These funds would go straight to participating filmmakers in a range of awards categories, to help them with current or future film projects. Right now, we hope to add a cash prize of at least $500 for the "Golden Olive" award for best overall festal contribution. In future years, we would like to add awards for best new filmmaker, bets documentary, and so on. Your help in promoting Palestinian artistic development, and independent filmmaking, is greatly needed!
