Description:
Jenin city and refugee
camp in the West Bank were the scenes of fierce fighting in April
2002, during the Israeli army's "Defensive Shield" operation,
which ended with parts of Jenin flattened and scores of Palestinians
dead. Originally banned in Israel, "Jenin, Jenin"
shows the extent to which Israeli war crimes and prolonged oppression
have affected the state of mind of the Palestinian inhabitants of
Jenin.
